Public Records Request

Heather Glen Community Services District is committed to transparency, accountability, and public access to District records in accordance with the California Public Records Act.

Members of the public may request access to identifiable District records, including records related to District meetings, policies, finances, services, projects, and other public agency business. Requests should be as specific as possible to help the District identify and locate responsive records.

Public records requests may be submitted by email to heatherglencsd@gmail.com or by using the form below.

The District will review and respond to public records requests in accordance with the timelines and requirements of the California Public Records Act. Generally, the District will determine within 10 calendar days whether the request seeks disclosable public records in the District’s possession and will notify the requester of that determination. In unusual circumstances, the District may extend this determination period by up to 14 additional days as allowed by law.

Some records may be exempt from disclosure or may require redaction under applicable law. If responsive records are disclosable, the District will make them available within a reasonable time based on the scope of the request, the volume of records, the need for review or redaction, and the format in which the records are maintained.
